Factory Electrical Wiring & Connectors

There has been some useful information shared in another awesome build thread around more authentic and factory appearing electrical wiring and connections. I searched the forum for any recent electrical threads but didn't find any. I figure the collective genius of this forum will be able to provide an assist with information and other threads gathered over the years. Through the 356Registry I found this supplier on the East Coast that provides looms, wiring, connectors and tools for older vehicles.

Page 43 and 44 of this build thread contains very useful back and forth on improved, more factory looking connections.

Yes, I understand they are excellent. I was informed by them that they provide wiring looms (harnesses) only.

What do you want to know?
Buy open barrel terminal crimpers from $30 to $800 for the tool and different dies.
I have many of each.
Terminals and some TE housings are searchable on Mouser and others. Some are Porsche only. Some like the 6 pin connectors and relay bases need to be cast in rubber as they are built by soldering terminals to the wire and then encasing them (casting) in the correct type of rubber.
It took me years to research develop and source everything I have in tools, materials and what I need to know to make harnesses. I source my parts worldwide. I have striped wire made for me.
Most of the information on connectors is posted somewhere here on the site.

Take a look through the last 6 years of building harnesses, lots of info in there.
