What to do with my 2.7?
I recently planned on doing a rebuild on my 2.7S engine but after completly dismantling and weighing my options for what had to be replaced I have decided to go to a 3.2 instead. (I learnt a ton about my car though)
My question is what should I do with my 2.7. I am not going to resemble it but would I get the most money for it if I parted it out piece by piece or would I make more if I just sell it all together? What would I get with both options?

It depends on what kind of shape the pieces are in. If it was me, i would just sell it all together and be done with it.

I would say around 30,000 since PO did last rebuild.

Dennis, I think the main reason you couldn't get much more than that is most people want to buy a motor they can just drop in and go with minimal head aches. Yours being in pieces means they would have to put it back together.
To bad i'm not ready to sell my 3.0 yet. Good luck. |
