+1 for John Bell. He does great work.

Absolutely stunning metal work on this build, seriously next level. I tackled my own backdate and got a real lesson in fabricating and welding. To see work of this caliber is truly inspirational!

Mary Stuart for the win

Big weekend ahead. Car will be here in T-minus 10 minutes and we need to have car ready for engine start up by thursday. Do not have secondary pipes yet. Engine going in tonight for the first time to align muffler and build secondaries. Hopefully finish intake plenum. Then its off to the races for a whirlwind of assembly all week long only stopping for engine start up and initial tune. Wheel dyno at Ed Pink Racing the following week.

Very impressive build. What type of carpeting is that? I'm looking for something thin like that.

Was going for a bit of a 70s RSR feel to the shrouding and intake. Hope you like it as it was an insane amount of work.

How did dyno go at Ed Pinks?

nathanbs 09-29-2025 08:05 AM

ended up dyno'ng at Road Race Engineering instead to do hub dyno. It ended up doing right around 340 at the rear wheels.

quattrorunner 09-29-2025 12:35 PM

Amazing!

911 SLANT 09-29-2025 03:09 PM

If you don't mind, why did you go Road and Race for your dyno. Only reason why Im asking is im planning to have my car dyno tested to have my PMOs dialed in and wanted to know who can do the best job with jetting.

nathanbs 09-29-2025 03:45 PM

The tuner preferred Road Race as they are super flexible in accommodating your schedule and they are very affordable as well. The tuner uses both Ed Pink and Road Race and he and I agreed Road Race was the better option. In your case you need someone that's familar with PMOs. I had Sergio at GameFace Motorsports in Whittier dyno my last PMO'd car. He is predominantly a porsche shop
