Seat belt & brake dash warning lamp lens... roll your own?

After trying to find the elusive and self-destructive warning lamp lens, I figured it was time to take matters into my own hands. Thankfully a fellow Pelican came to the rescue and offered one at a reasonable price, but I was quoted as high as $300 () and it seems they go for crazy money on fleabay.

So I modeled a replacement:

I strengthened the design within the tolerances of the housing, and also print the stranding across the failure point to make it stronger.

I printed a test prototype and the fit is perfect (yeah, I know it's green, but it's what was in the printer. It was also before I resized and moved the logos to the outside of the lens):

So now I just need to get one printed in red. I know it's not OEM, but at least it covers the hole in the dash. I may also customize the text if I can think of something witty that fits... "Prepare for takeoff" is a little too long. LOL!

Whoops, can't link competitors.... someone started producing these. Cost is $45 for just the lens.
