Catalyst Or?

In a batch of exhaust system parts that came with my back-dated SC engine ('73 and earlier exhaust system) there is what appears to be a brand new cat, but after looking into it I am not sure. Here is the P/N:

911.111.183.02

It has a bung for an O2 sensor ahead of the catalyst section.

If not a cat what is this thing and what cars does it apply to? I have seen a reference to the '76 models, but that doesn't make sense as I didn't think any 911 had a cat that early.

I guess the salient question is can I use this item as part returning my SC to it's stock exhaust?

More likely that is a pre-muffler, probably from a RoW or Japan car

the part# is actually 930.111.183.03

a cat would be 930.113.230.**
