What should a normal engine mount look like?
Now that I saw these polyurethane engine mountings Matt Holcomb has, I began wonder if I had any bushings there...?
All I have is this bolt that has spring plates on both ends and it goes through a plate that has a whole and that is welded to the body. Any pictures of those engine mountings? Diagrams? Thanks.

Yes I think the picture is upside down and your mounts look the same as mine.
Cheers

Zendalar,
Oh, you'll have bushings between the plates, but after thirty years they'll be no thicker than a rice cracker. Mine were shot; the rubber bushings were quite brittle. I'm assured that the polyurethane mounts will make an enormous difference, but I won't know until next week.
