Rust

Has any one had good results from the laser rust removers? Will they work on anything else like old paint residue? Hand held units? Cost effectiveness? Tx Bri

Should work great if you can stomach the $80K buy-in price. Payback would be quite long unless you were running a full resto shop and could back charge hours against it.

That money buys a lot of media blasting time for the average build.

For 80K you can buy a really nice finished 911. Heck I would sell my 85 Carrera for 80 large is someone offered that much.

Exactly. Nd:Yag IR lasers at 1kW power. Not cheap. Even some of the smaller pump lasers are pricey.

But they are Oh So Cool!.

Here are a few examples

This would be one of those fun tools that you would play with. Go around finding whatever you can to watch the laser burn off crap! LOL!

I'd have the CLEANEST grill in the neighborhood!!!! HA!
