911 fuchs offsets

Is the correct offset for 911 Fuchs 23 mm for the 7's and 8's? How much different is this than the 944 or 944 turbo offsets?

Jeff,

There is a huge difference between the 911 and 944 8" fuchs... I don't recall the difference but try a search. This topic has been discussed on the board previously.

You can't run 944 8s on the back of a 911 without spacers.

All the best.

911 and 951 7X16 have 23.3 offset

911 8X16 have 10.6 mm offset
951 8X16 have 23.3 mm offset
The 951 8X16 will be 12.7 mm (half an inch) more inside the wheelwell than the 911 8X16

Thank you guys,
so from the looks of Jeremy's chart, the 7's are the same but the 8's are more inset on the 944 than on the 911? If that is correct, I would need spacers on the 944 rears?

yep if you get the 944 fuchs. Lot's of regular 8's (911) around - I would go that route and forego the spacers.

Actually if you find a set of the 944 turbo fuchs- Porsche Part # 951 362 117 00 16 x 8 Fuchs

you can get big money for these - cause they will actually fit the front of a 911 SC or Carerra and are relatively rare. I imagine someone would be happy to trade you a set of 911 16 x 8's.
