Pedal cluster part help please

Can someone explain to me where exactly this little part goes. It is part 21 in the below diagram. Part number - 901-423-193-00-OEM rubber stop.

I got a pedal rebuild kit of sorts from Pelican and I have this little part and really cant tell where it goes, or what it does. The diagram offers no help.

Thanks in advance!

isn`t that piece for right hand drive pedal cluster? Your pedal cluster looks like this i hope? The rubber ring should slide here as a stop..

I am pretty sure it’s 29 on the diagram.
If you google auto Atlanta Porsche and go to website they will show parts diagram for particular years.
The clicking on diagram will explode to show all part number side diagram.
Best way to check parts and #s and where they fit .

It is 21. The part number on the bag corresponds to part 21 on the diagram.

That must be it! Thanks so much
Part of my problem was when I took the motor out I forgot to disconnect the accelerator cable and that tab was bent back. Now I see I need to correct that as well so double thanks!!

21 is a rubber donut bumper that cushions the contact of the throttle bell crank. 29 is a nylon/bronze bushing which appears to back at the engine throttle assembly. Bob
