1973 911E Firing order direction

Hello:

Trying to verify that I have the plug wires on correctly.

When checking, do I go clockwise or counterclockwise on the distributor, using the firing order on the engine compartment sticker?

I tried searching, but to no avail.

Thanks so much.

1, 6, 2, 4, 3, 5, clockwise from TDC.

Yes, go by the sticker. Also, go to the "How To" articles on the top of this page. Find TDC on your pulley with your Distributor cap off.

You should always mark your wires when removing them from any distributor.

I only removed the wires from the right bank when taking off the weber IDAs, so I can work off the number one cylinder wire.

Thank you so much for the quick answer.

How the Porsche 911 firing order relate to my life:

1-6 years old when I lost my virginity.
3-5 years old when I came to America.
2-4 years old when I got married.
