Has anyone ever tried to put a 901 push-type clutch arm onto a transmission that utilizes a pull-type clutch arm assembly? Is it a direct fit, or will this not work? The 1970 and 71 use a pull type clutch but I want to keep my push-type; can I just switch the forks or are the pivot points different? Please help! Thanks

The location of the pivot point is different by 14 mm, plus the case for the pull clutch has a tab on the bellhousing that is not needed for the push type clutch. If you would like, I would be glad to trade you a push type clutch case for a pull type clutch case. The 70/71 911 pull type clutch works really well in a 914 because of the reversed orentation of the action. We can get rid of the goofy nylon cable pulley :-)
