They are the OE filter for my 2017 GTI. Also used them on my E36 and E39 BMW.

My mechanic used the Hengst fuel filter on my 87 Carrera at the last service. I have no problems with it. Checking the Pelican webpage for the 87 Carrera fuel filters, it appears that Hengst manufactures the 928-110-253-06 fuel filter for Porsche. You can see that the factory and Hengst filters have two compressed ring areas on the outlet side and the Mahle has none.

I just took a clear Hengst off my 72 and put a Mahle on. What's the difference?

Used their oil filters on my TDi where excellent oil filtration was critical. Great product. Also use their air filters.
