1978 911sc cigarette lighter removal
I need to remove the cigarette lighter from my 78 911sc to replace part of the dash pad the surrounds the radio and heater controls. Last thing I need to remove is the lighter. Not sure how to remove it.

From the trunk, passenger side with moving some ductwork, or from the clock hole with long skinny arms, reach in and turn counter clockwise to unscrew it.
Actually, long arms are the key from either side... ![]()
