915 needle bearing bushing NLA and length differences
Apparently there is a very subtle length difference in the bushings for a 901 and 915 transmission. 1mm
I cracked my old one and bought a used replacement. I did not realize it was a 901 part until after I stacked the input shaft. That is when 3rd gear would not turn. Disassembled the input shaft and measured the bushing only to find out it was 24mm long and not 25mm as required. Thankfully (fingers crossed) I found one on eBay. I’ll know in a week These are often requested based on the forums. But have been NLA for a long time. Maybe someone can make a batch. The funny things is the two are so close that a long one can be trimmed to a short one. I’m going to submit this to Porsche Classic as an idea for another new part Anyone else make them ?? ![]() |

Got boxes full, so I'm good for a while.
