Video: Installing a SSI exhaust system on a Porsche 911 SC

Hi.

the video gives you a detailed step by step tutorial how to replace the exhaust system of your Porsche 911 G by a SSI exhaust system. For doing this the oil cooling system of you engine has to be modified, because the larger heat ecchangers are in conflict with an oil pipe. The video shows also this in detail.

The video has a German soundtrack, but English subtitles are available on YouTube. If you don't see them by defualt, watch the video directly on YouTube and enable the subtitles with the button below the frame.

Enjoy it,

Jürgen

Saw it. Great video. I also saw his turbo tie rod video which in passing shows how to get the steering rack out. Very good. The rear shock one is also good. It was down to the level of adding talcum powder to the rubber as a dry lubricant.

Good video, He had none of the required hammer adjustments (indentations) to fit I’ve read about. Anybody know why he didn’t?

Looking at the heat exchanger when he was installing it already looked to be dented in.

Hi,

right, I had to "adjust" the heat exchangers with the hammer in several places. I thought this was only with my model the case.

Greetings,

Jürgen
