Euromeister wheel, center caps and wheel nuts

Can anyone confirm that my stock 16" Fuchs center caps and wheel nuts will work with upgraded 17' Euromeister wheels?

Also, can anyone recommend what tire size for standard (non lowered) suspension?
It seems everyone is running completely different sizes.

Thanks

Tires will depend on the wheel specs; width, ET, diameter

I'm pretty sure your 16" tires will not fit the 17" euromeisters.

Lug nuts and center caps, yes....I had to very gently file a bevel around the opening for the center caps, just the smallest amount, probably just the powdercoat/finish was just a bit too thick for the center caps to fit...

Do you think that duck tape or super glue would assist in getting the 16" tires work on these 17" wheels?

Thanks for the insight on the caps.

For what it's worth - I went with the 215/45 & 245/40 x 17 that Bill recommends. Great fit! Here's a picture with them on. (and yes the caps & lug nuts fit no problem).

Did you use any spacers with your set up? I have a targa similar to yours with the Euromeister 17", same tire sizes too and I'm thinking about getting some spacers in the back to push it out just a tad more for looks. Still need to get mine lowered.

Another data point: 205/45-17 on 7's ans 255/40-17's on 9's. These tire sizes are IMO the best fit for these wheels on this car (a cruiser).

The autoX car has 225's on 8" (widened from 7) on front and 255 on 9's in the rear.
