Brake Lines

Is there any problems with swaping the hard plastic brake lines that go from the brake resv. to the master cylinder? I was thinking of removing the plastic tubes and just using rubber brake lines instead. Also, can someone take a photo of how those plastic lines feed from the mc up through the body to the brake resv. I looked all over the bottom of my car and cannot figure how these lines are suppossed to feed through.

Thanks in advance..

Greg

I was thinking about pulling the brake lines out when I replaced my MC, but it looked like I would need to remove the fuel tank to thread the lines back through. I wouldn't want rubber lines feeding the MC. If the lines were to get pinched somehow, it might affect your braking ability.

Those hard plastic lines go from the MC, up through the cabin by your feet, to the reservoir.

Well here is the problem, I put a new full pan in (front bumper to rear seats all one piece) and there does not appear to be a place in the pan to feed the line through. Do i need to cut my own holes? Can someone shoot me a picture?

Is this where the feed line (see right) should feed through?
