Quilted leather seats

My seats need recovering and I must say I really dig quilted leather or vinyl seats like the ones in that Miata...I was wondering if anyone has done something similar with 911 SC seats. Would be great if they made those seat covers for 911. Seems very easy to install too.

Buy some seat covers....if you like. Have them disassembled by your upholstery guy..... Insert quilted leather/vinyl. It's easier then you might think.

My frunk..............

Not sure where the Pic went....? I bought the material and the foam and had a friend sew the pattern I laid out in chalk.

WOW does that look cool.

My seats are in the process of being done; wish I had thought of this. Really nice look.

Diamond stitch and tuck n roll is what we did to our muscle cars back in the 70s

I hit a snag with the driver side power window switches. Didn’t mark the wires correctly, now the windows won’t work anymore. Was hot in the garage too so I went for a swim and will get back at it in the morning .

Of course, those new panels stress the need for new carpeting too...Thinking black would go well.

no to my taste!

Did they ever do that in a 911?

Maybe they reserved it for the Targa?
