Fresh Air Blower Assembly - Open?

Hey All - I removed my Fresh Air Blower Assembly about 9 months ago to get at my wiper motor and totally forgot how it looked. I probably should have taken pictures but I didn't.

Is the back of the Air Blower open? Or does it get closed up somehow?

(Not happy I have to ask, but here I am...)

This is mine before and after I fitted the new motor ..if I can remember it went straight back in hope this helps.....

your el.cables have to to to the opening slat...otherwise open ..it is part of the whole unit so it is closed after all;-)
