Thanks Bob, Have you used them since the company changed ownership from the original owner?

I had 'Rick Hart' at Fuchs Restoration do 2 sets, quick turn around and good pricing. I didn't know until now that they had changed ownership to 'Ed McNamee'. Overall quality was very good, but the detailing to the backside of the barrel was less than hoped for. I suppose good enough for anything short of concours.

Thanks Guys for all your Input, It appears that Peter has a great reputation, Even though you can't speak to the man outside the USA. I will get my wheels sent over the next few days to him. Will post pictures once they are done, David

Sounds good David. What's the car?

drgouk 03-12-2020 12:59 AM

Hi Bill, im probably in the wrong area, but i thought I'd get the best response here, my car is a 1975 914, its getting a 3.0 6 and I have 914/6 brakes etc. Should be fun. Regards David

David -- what size tires are you planning to run with these wheels? At least on the 911 front, the selection of performance, but not track-focused, 15" tires is virtually nonexistent. Hope sizing's better on the 914 front

Bill Douglas 03-12-2020 12:46 PM

I know you want 15" but this guy on trademe https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=2567967662 has an expensive but OK-ish set of 16" here in NZ. The anodising looks good and the black could easily be repainted - or repainted to the car's colour.

looks like the 16" Fuchs will likely fit! 914World.com > 16X7 fuchs fit narrow body 914 in rear?
