Like it? Love it! Feels so good in hand / in use. Looks amazing too. My goal with this car is that any mods improve drivability, reliability and performance (in that order) and be as stealth as possible (i.e. 95% of people wouldn't otherwise know). This shift knob, while a bit more noticeable, fits the bill.

It does not have a hole to receive an insert you have shown. The knob I fashioned has a threaded hole that I screwed onto the shifter arm.

All G50 have the specs I wrote, all knobs I make for a G50 have the adapter in my photo (including famoroso), you have an aftermarket shift lever by Wevo, it should be M16 X 1.5

I had zero idea that my shift lever, provided by Wevo, was different. I ordered it from Wevo two years ago and was not aware there were different levers for the G50. I used what they sent not thinking there was another option. Yes M16 x 1.5.

I still have the Momo race air leather knob that I used to run on my 914s. Great knob.

I am indecisive, I make them myself, and I like making them ...
All of these attach with a couple M4 setscrews, so swapping takes 15 seconds.
I even fit one in my daughter's VW sportwagen, though that was a major PITA.
