How is tool kit mounted

Stupid question. Where does the tool kit mount in the trunk of an 84 Carrera?

Mine sits on the floor in the '82. Or you can tuck it under the carpet in front of the spare tire, depending on how many tool you carry.

"...in front of the spare tire..."

This is where my full OEM kit was. Now it sits in my garage.

The tool kits are not mounted!! Just make sure the case is either snapped close or tied well. Most snug them up in front of the spare tire.

That looks really sweet. Did you make the hood and trunk liner yourself, or can those be purchased?

(Never mind, I found the answer here: Original trunk carpet- is it lame, or is it just me?)
