Shifter Bushings Complete

Thanks to all of the previous posts on transmission shifter bushings replacement tips, I have completed that project today. I spent probably 4 hours total on it. Thanks to all the great tips from previous posters, couldn't have done it without them, even with the 101 projects book.

All of the bushings came out fine with the tips provided, all went in just as easy. Minimal effort on each, even the pin came out of the coupler just fine.....no need to take it to a shop or buy another one. Just a few well place hits with a hammer, supported by a socket...worked like a charm.

The only trouble was getting the console out of the way to access the shifter. I had to try and try again on the shift coupler adjustment, but again this went fairly smooth.

The shifting is much improved. Much more feel and precision to each shift.

Thanks again to all the previous tips, I owe a beer to a few of you.
