Does my 79' SC have a DME Relay

I'm quite certain that this is a stupid question and that the answer is no. However, I am curious what year they added these? I only know about them from here on the forum and how you should always travel with a spare but I don't think this applies to my year. Am I right on this one? Thanks! | ||

no that came with the 3.2 carrera what u need is a spare pump relay (in the frunk fuse box, red or black, doesn't matter) edit: what u also should carry in the glove box is a spare accelerator spring for the lever in the engine bay. if it rips, nothing goes.

Nope. The DME Relay was part of the Digital Mototronics system used on 3.2 Carrera models. The DME system gets a lot of attention on the board but it is reliable system if well maintained.
