'77 EGR Question
Ok, I'm a bit confused. If I look at my EGR valve, it's all hooked up except the line-out to the airbox is cut and looks like it's melded together in the proximity of the EGR Valve. (Is that the right word?)
![]() I guess i'm wondering if I can leave it this way? Will it affect performance? Will it cause my engine to blow up? Should I hook it back up? (I don't think I have to worry about smog laws) Can I leave it alone? Thanks,

It's fine unless you take the car to Los Angeles where it would fail the visual smog inspection because of the cut/crushed together EGR line. Make sure the plug (yellow cap) stays in place. Cheers, Jim

Thanks Jim! I appreciate it! (Buy you a brew sometime if I can get it running up to Los Alamos!)
