'77 EGR Question
Ok, I'm a bit confused. If I look at my EGR valve, it's all hooked up except the line-out to the airbox is cut and looks like it's melded together in the proximity of the EGR Valve. (Is that the right word?)
Anyway, looks like the line into the airbox has a bright yellow cap over the hose (Ie it's plugged).I guess i'm wondering if I can leave it this way? Will it affect performance? Will it cause my engine to blow up? Should I hook it back up? (I don't think I have to worry about smog laws) Can I leave it alone? Thanks,

It's fine unless you take the car to Los Angeles where it would fail the visual smog inspection because of the cut/crushed together EGR line. Make sure the plug (yellow cap) stays in place. Cheers, Jim

Thanks Jim! I appreciate it! (Buy you a brew sometime if I can get it running up to Los Alamos!)
