GTS Classics - Getting seats done- timely?

I placed an order recently. Does anyone have experience ordering custom seats? How timely is GTSclassics? He has given me a couple of different answers so far. Wants money up front and final payment BEFORE final assembly.

Interested in others experience.

I ordered beginning of January. As far as I know the seats haven't been started. Stefan told me last that the leather he received was the wrong color.
Stefan is, however, very responsive.
I knew I was in for a wait, we'll see how long. I really wanted the seats he showed me, so hopefully it will be worth it.

GTS Classics is a one-man show. Stefan is busy with many customers (not just Porsche cars) and has a wait for custom designs. Best to contact him directly and discuss wait times for what you want to order. He is very responsive and easy to talk with.

Yes, I have known Stefan for about 15 years. He lives across town from me. He is not Amazon. But he does build excellent seats.

Stefan appears to do wonderful work. But during my build I knew that I wasn't going to see my seats for many months If I elected to use him. Timely is a relative word. My wheels were promised in 8 weeks and it took 14. His seats appear to take longer than that.

I ordered some custom seats from him late December. He quoted first of March and I had them a couple weeks earlier than that.

Stefan does great work, but it can take some time.
But it is well worth the wait.
Big time quality.
He did these for my 914.
Get lots of great comments all the time when folks see them.

I purchased my seats from Stefan and he is great to work with. It may take some time depending on what you order though.

Moot point. Stephan cancelled my order after I asked him why he needs payment in advanced (I was supplying the materials).

Lost a month and $86 in shipping. Time to find a new vendor.

Anyone have some Recaro sport seats with earlish look they want to pass on?

He did my seats in roughly the time promised. I was on no set timetable so didnt push it and we had an issue with the color of the seat shells that he farms out so that took some extra time. Overall very pleased with the experience and product.
