I am in the same boat for my 83 sc.

So far online I have only found them on Sierra Madre or EBay.

I’ve reached out to safelite but haven’t heard back yet. Next I’m calling a local Porsche shop.

Any glass shop can get you a windshield for these cars, as long as you aren't concerned about whether the brand marking is similar to original.

Avoid chinese glass if you can. It's hard to do. Find someone who can deal with Mygrant and pay like under $150 for good fitting glass with no distortion.

$150 please send me info where I can find new glass at those prices. FYI I replaced 2 windshield in the last two years(donít ask) I bought a used one for $350 and a new one from pro source before they closed for $450 as he was liquidating them. Brumos quoted me $1800 for glass only!

I just bought one from "kool katz auto glass". Seems corny but it was PPG glass shipped to my door for $350. Packaging and customer service was great.

I had mine installed for $170 total. Plus I bought the new gasket from Pelican. The glass guy came to the house. I had to show him how to install the metal trim. I also pushed from the outside while he pulled the rope from the inside. Looks nice.
