Help needed to identify this wire..

Does anyone know what this wire on my 83 911 SC was once connected to? When swapping vacuum lines I noticed is hidden under the front of the airbox.
It is not the throttle position or microswitch connection. I look for something to plug it into but could not find anything.

Thanks,
Matt[

82SC, thanks so much. I will search posts more carefully in the future. I just got my wife a new digital camera and decided to take it out for a spin. A picture is truely worth a thousand words when figuaring out where stuff goes.
Thanks so much,
Matt

Looks like the wire that goes to the Thermovalve, and I saw referenced in the other post that 83SC's didn't have it. Didn't all SC 3.0L's have a Thermovalve? Maybe it was removed?

yeah you will all notice that the bracket that holds the heater blower motor also seems to have an empty space...

I think the earlier cars had the thermovalve and the bracket helped to hold it...

Since the SC split from 78-79 then 80-83 I think the later cars have the vestigial parts
