Basic Checklist For Starting a Car After Short Storage
Cars aren't getting driven as much and a lot of people are working on projects that they have put off now that we're all stuck at home. We thought we'd put together a basic list for things to check and maintain while storing your car and for when you finally do get back on the road.
Please add your checklist below! - Throw on a battery charger, like a Battery Tender, to prevent a dead battery! If possible, start your car every few days to keep the battery strong. - Check your tire pressure with a gauge. - Older cars can leak a bit of oil, so make sure you have a sufficient level. If you're planning on doing an oil change, check out some supplies here. Tell us what steps you take before starting a car that's been in storage for some time. If you're looking for some items to freshen up your car and get it road worthy, check out our Basic Maintenance and Car Care sections!
