Update: To make the installation easier I can recommend using the original H4 screws that allows you to mount the housing and outer rings with a separate screws.

I received my headlamps in April direct from Rennline and tried to fit them shortly after and gave up as they wouldn't retain on the top lip. At the weekend with a mate helping, I did get them to sit on the top lip, but the plastic wouldn't sit flush against the gasket and neither the new retaining ring nor the original wouldn't fit properly over the main plastic headlamp itself.

Very disappointed so I'm going to try and send them back to Rennline. There's too much plastic that can flex and I also noted that the glass fluted lens provided was for LHD cars yet I specifically asked for RHD lenses. Not impressed with the quality at all especially as I spend the best part of $1,000.

Rennline has really nice ads in Panorama magazine.

I have been happy with mine overall but recently noticed the top ring is loose... meaning that if I push it forward slightly it will fall off the top of the headlight assembly...

Very frustrating after I needed a new set since the others were defective and now this issue...

I will be calling them to see what to do. At this point I don't want to pay to have another set of rings painted and have the same issue down the road.. I purchased directly from them and not our host when I originally purchased. They've only been on the car for 300 miles. Ugh
