Fuel Pump Relay

Where is my fuel pump relay? It says on the plastic fuse cover it should be second from last of the fuses but that spot is empty (see photo). Also any idea what the square type of fuse is (first fuse) and why the PO would have switched it to this? it is just taped in there.

Thanks,
Kirk

The red relay is for your fuel pump. The empty space is for a second fuel pump relay for cars that had two (930 turbos if memory serves.)

Hard to tell from the photo but it looks like a standard square relay taped in place at the end where one of the round relays used to be.

The slope is not slippery; in fact it is entirely frictionless.

Relay.

Perhaps, the "taped" relay is the A/C relay location?

Thanks, I thought the red one was it. I bet you are right the car had air conditioning at one point.
