Central Locking issues after removal of Viper alarm 87' 911

87' 911.

I have recently removed the Viper alarm that the previous owner had installed.

When the alarm was connected and I pushed the remote it activated both doors to unlock/lock and worked.

Now after removal when pushing the central locking button in the center console or using the key from outside the drivers door it won't unlock/lock the car. I do hear things move when doing these in both doors but nothing happens.

My first thought was the mechanism inside the doors were broken but if the alarm was moving the locks up/down does that mean those are still intact, or possibly removed for the alarm to function properly...?

Could I still have an issue with the arms inside not being connected? I think it is this part number through searching on other threads. 964-537-571-00

Here is link to part. https://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/ksearch/pel_search_2016.cgi?command=DWsearch&description=964-537-571-00

Thanks for any help. I searched but was unsuccessful in finding out how this could be happening after alarm removal.

Bryan

Update... removed the door cards on both sides and the little arms have the end (ball/socket) connector broke off the shaft or completely gone.

I will see if I can just order the white teflon style socket connector otherwise will just purchase entire arm like I listed above once I verify that's the best option.

You can order the socket connector alone from our host. It's color black now. Identical to the connectors for the heat levers beside the handbrake.
