Nice! Even though I sold my '88 CS last year, I still have the Technik in a frame in my office.

Bill, Many say that a real CS feels more like a 2.7RS than a regular Carrera......less weight, more nimble, slightly higher redline etc. I have never driven a 2.7RS so I cant really comment.
I built a CS clone a few years back using an early '78SC with a '84 3.2, wong chip, pre muff etc and it was just as fun as the real CS but without bragging rights of the real CS. I sold my real CS because I could not enjoy driving it on the street.....I was always worried something happening. Wish I still had the white '78 CS clone. Pics attached of the white clone and the real red CS.
