oil pump service?
My oil pump has been sitting in my garage, sealed in a plastic bag for the past few years after tearing down my engine.
I didn't have any issues (that I know of) when I took it out of the engine... but wasn't sure if I should send it out to be serviced, or try to service it myself, or upgrade it, etc... I've looked up Glenn Yee Motorsports, and thought about sending my pump to have the core exchanged for one of their modified versions.. but wasn't sure if this was necessary, also not familiar with their work. What do you all do with your oil pumps?

It's easy enough to open and inspect for scoring, pitting, etc. If you do, just remember to keep the gear mesh/orientation intact.

I have used Glenn Yee for oil pump rebuilds both stock and modified. Excellent service and work.

Henry Schmidt at supertech did a flow improvement on my SC pump, oil pressure is fantastic.

How do you service an oil pump other than inspect and clean. The bore is what it is and so are the gears. It is serviceable or it isn't. What's to do.
