Wiring for heating 86 Carrera

Hello again,

This time I have taken on the task to fix the heating on my 86 carrera. Previous owner has made this a little tricky for me, as you can see from the pictures. At some point the circuit board has given up, and instead of replacing, the guy made his own switch, with bypass wires going from circuit board to the servo and fan control. Unfortunately this meant removing and cutting existing wires. As I want to restore this to original, I am trying to find a diagram for this. In the diagrams I have seen, there i nothing to show the internal wiring. Just the wiring going to and from blower and heating control units. Does anyone know if such a diagram exists?

Auto heat.

Unfortunately, the factory manual does not show all of the pin#'s,
or the color codes.

Here are a few pics.

Please be advised that the PC board design varies considerably from M/Y to M/Y.

Good luck,

Gerry

Thank you so much. I will give it a try. I found an aftermarket PC board, and they say all the boards are the same, but wiring colours can vary. I will start off by making sure fans and servo switches work, and then try to backtrack from there. I have all summer
Witch Manual is the diagram from? The one I have is not as detailed.

You wouldn’t happen to have a picture of your wires going into the PC Board? Then I could follow the coilours from the pin to where I attaches, based on the other pics?

Manual.

The CKT is from the factory manual which I believe
is long ago out of print.

You can find the complete factory 3.2 manuals
on the used parts forum & on eBay.

A bit pricey ~$700.

All I have is the electrical section,
sorry no pics of the wiring into the PC board.

And, all PC boards are not the same.

Gerry
