From the filler neck, if the usual return path to the air intake isn’t used, there are two options:

1. Install a catch can to further separate oil drops from crankcase blowby....or

2. Install a hose and crankcase breather cap so any fluids drain back to the tank.

In both cases, vapor vents to atmosphere, hopefully with minimal fluid.

Without any of the above, crankcase pressure from the filler neck will deposit a layer of blowby and crankcase stuff onto the engine compartment.

Thanks Sherwood. Hope Sunday meet ups in Montrose continue. Almost have motor done. Just waiting for oil line and hopefully get my 997 GT3 muffler back from Brian in a couple of weeks.
