Alternator ID and VR Help

Need an ID on this Alternator. I can't find any markings or the likes. It's in a 930.106.101 fan shroud, not that that may be original. Also needed to get a 16x1 nut for the shaft if that helps.

I'm thinking SC era BOSCH?

Also, what external voltage regulator would be suitable for this since I believe they are somewhat specific and I do not have one?

Thanks,

Marlon

70 amp Marshal or Motorola. This alt has field diodes. You should be OK with any of the new solid state VR's. There was a small difference between regulators for early alts that had isolation plates instead of field diodes.

That's the older SC alternator with an external regulator.

Here's the tech bulletin describing the update to the internal regulator. Not sure why Porsche made the change but
having just replaced the VR in my SC, I wish it was external !

Looking for Early S Man

Be very careful with the correct wiring. I don't have any experience with the older version you have.
