In '75 7 & 8 x 15 Fuchs on a Carrera would have been 185/70 & 215/60

'76 Carrera 3.0 was the only year and model where 205/50 & 225/50 was offered on the 7 & 8 x15s and the option package also included a speedometer w/ different calibration

For 205/225 there are other grippier ways to go, but yes the CN 36 in those sizes would be a period correct and reasonable grippy option.

Any opinion on the these 'P Zero Asimmetrico' tires? The CN36 seems to be N/A in these sizes from U.S. suppliers, while places like Discount Tire can get the P Zero in 205 and 225 sizes. The tread on the CN36 looks pure 1960's sporty car while the new-tech P Zero looks better able to handle today's driving.

Lucas Tire offers the new P7 tires in these sizes for another vintage looking tread alternative. Pirelli's own website lists the CN36 as a 1960's tire, the P7 for 1970's vehicles, and the P Zero as the 1980's style tire. Only the P7 and P Zero are available in 205/50 and 225/50, the CN36 is not. For a 275 HP powered car with SC flared quarters I'm leaning toward the P Zero series tire.

Do you think that 205/ 50 15 are too wide for the front. You dont think that they will hit, when you turn.

No, they’ve been used many times in the front. They were also offered on the Carrera in 1976.

Both the re-issued CN36 and P7 look vintage, but have been updated with modern compounds and such. They are actually pretty good tires, even by today's standards.

CN36 and classic P7 can be had here - https://www.lucasclassictires.com/Pirelli-Cinturato_c255.htm

Only Pirelli-approved vintage car dealers can get them.
