Fuel Injector - Low or High impedence in '85 3.2?

Just checked my old Bosch 0280150158 injector ohms and is 3.1. Am thinking that's LOW impedence. Checked new injectors---sold as direct replacement for Bosch in '85 911---and they're 15.1 ohms. Am thinking that's HIGH impedence. Have I got this right or wrong?

And... far as I know, cannot swap HIGH for LOW and call it a day.

???

You have it correct. Although the motronic won’t have any issue driving the high-imp, mist of the time, because of different characteristics the motronic rom needs to be adjusted. See Sal Carceller or others on this forum who have solutions for that.

What is the part no on your new injector btw ?

Not a good idea! Porsche/Bosch designed the 911 3.2/ BMW fuel injection system specifically for a low impedance injector,
e.g. as was done for BMW M5/M6.

Thanks to yas Frank & Dave. Input is appreciated. Part # SET-REPP314301-6 from Carparts.com They're selling them as "OE Replacement." Had other issues with these things---has been sour from get go. Already multiple emails with Carparts. Saga continues.

Now the good news... got your confirmation before installing intake manifolds with them Thank you!

Ohms should be around 2.5.
