The AC system is fairly simple, once you have some background in AC systems.

There is indeed a main fuse that runs the system, right in the fuse panel. There is a relay in the passenger side of the smuggler's box where the evaporator fan is. Turn the AC control knobs to the right or clockwise as far as they go. Turn the key on of course and engine running is best. If you have no fans running it is the likely the fuse or the relay.

There are several hundred threads on this site with every possible solution to your issue. Do a search, and start reading and learning. It is not rocket science, but it does take some skill at basic trouble shooting.

I have a 85 911 and it has fantastic AC, but it has a complete upgrade from Griffith's technologies.

thanks glen,
the only fan that comes on when is the one under the dash...the condenser blower and compressor do not.

Either your relay (Arbeitsrelais) or thermoswitch (Thermoschalter) isn’t allowing power to the condensor fan and to the clutch on the compressor.

See ‘blatt 3’ top right corner.
