Garage decoration - any of you do this?

A few months ago, I started this thing where every time I get a sticker with some item I buy, I stick it up on the man-door of my garage. I got 3 PP orders in the last week, so I had 3 new stickers.

My tool chest is sticker land. Track stuff - kinda refuse to put non-Pcar connected stickers on there. Must be obsessive!

Kinda running out of room, so I guess that means a larger tool chest is required, right?

My approach is going to be a little different - every time I get an interesting looking part that's broken or just not needed, clean it up and hang it on the wall. Radiator hoses, old wheels, and a nice grille from a '48 GMC pickup, etc. Hopefully won't look too junky, will send pics once I've got a nice collection going...

Beats throwing it out!

They all end up on my Kennedy toolboxes. They are covered with everything from PP to Campagnolo.

Anyone remember the Dan Gurney sticker club you could join via the back pages of Hot Rod magazine, when Sox and Martin ruled the Pro Stock class (screw Grumpy Jenkins!).

Memories...

John

garage deco

I have a small refrigerator in the garage that hosts the sticker collection. Running out of room - need a larger capacity fridge - for more sticker room of course.

Shawn.

Re: Garage decoration - any of you do this?

I used a razor and tried to lift most of my 20-years worth from an old tool box, but only a few survived the surgery. Here they are, along with a few new ones, some music ones, one from the Post Office, some German military insignia, motorcycles, and even one I designed (STOC).

I dont have stickers on my gargae door, but I do Have stickers on my comp/ music room door. I hang my NFR and PBR, and old XFL banners and such in the garage at my house. At the other house, where the Porsche lives, I do have a 911 framed poster, with a lady in a dress acting as if she was working under the car.

Guilty as charged. I have many stickers all over my toolboxes, cabinets, even my refridgerator.

Robert,

Nice to see a fellow Rev. Horton Heat fan on the boards

I toss stickers in an old cigar box...most of 'em anyway. Reminds me...about time to order another box of cigars from J&R..
