Calling all Dr.'s What should I look for ..... oil droppings

So out of hibernation this weekend. Oil changed, new battery, buffed. She's a dripping a wee bit. The droppings are not in the area of the covers. it is in the area of the crossover pipe. so I know there are a lot of dr's porsche's here that love to diagnose.... and definately better than I am to diagnose, so what should I look for? Thanks!

Brakekleen it, dry it and watch where it comes from. Hard to tell by looking at drips on a napkin.

You're gonna need to help us out more than that. That's like showing us a pic of dog poop on your front lawn and asking us which dog it came from.

If you're averse to cleaning up everything before hand, you can put some fluorescent engine oil dye in the tank, drive it around and get it good and hot, then crawl under there with a black light and yellow glasses and pinpoint the leak.

With that analogy, the oil didn't come from his car. It's a statistical certainty that it came from a different 911, so he doesn't need to worry.

My 911 does not leak oil. It is only marking it's territory!

hahaha, i luv u guys, serious, or seriously humourous! Will need to crawl under and take the suggestions to heart for sure and I'l be sure to avoid the droppings.... I do have mice and chipper monks in the garage, but that sure don't look like their droppings, but hey what do i know. Thanks and enjoy the holiday.

As the saying goes, how else would you know there's oil in it ?

Seriously, if the car has been sitting, drive it around a couple hundred miles, then worry about the oil leaks.

If it came out of hibernation give her a good run and check in a few days with fresh cardboard. Mine will dribble up deep in the bowels over the winter as well. I put it on the road last month, went for an extened hoon around the roads and parked it. Put fresh carboard down and wainted to start chasing the drops. I have had 3 tiny drops in one month.
Those old seals just want to be warmed up, lubed and loved.
