Rear Bumper Tow Hook Plug P/N

Hello everyone,

Would anyone know the part number to the rear bumper tow hook plug for a SC / Turbo? The parts diagram is not clear on this.

Thanks!

I got a couple from Pelican for my 1987 RoW when I lost mine. I suspect the Euro bumpers between the two cars are the same. If I recall correctly they weren't "in stock" and had to be brought in from der Fatherland. It still only took a couple weeks, even with shipping up to the Great White North. At the price of a buck-fifty each, get yourself a spare or two. They don't seem all that secure, though I've lost only one. So far...

Does this look like what you need?

The finish on those plugs doesn’t look right. My plug is smooth and shiny, like the rubber bumper strip. Maybe the new ones look different.

I dunno. I can't speak for what may have been on your bumper. These are the same as the one I had to replace that was on my car for at least a decade. Maybe they changed them after the SC era? You may be able to look up the part number on the PET for your model year. Good luck in your bumper plug quest.
