adding gauge to 77 targa
For those of you wishing to add a 52 MM gauge to your dash but dont have the space, i was wondering if anyone ever tried using the gauge nacelle from an 09 Carrerra which mounts on the dash. Looks like just over 6” long & the bottom wide part is just over 4” and it is about 2 3/4”high. Cheaper then redoing an existing gauge to insert say a voltmeter
![]() ![]() ![]() any thoughts on this approach? (yes, it comes in black) Are there alternative housings to consider? |

After doing a quick search just now - Amazon has an option for a plastic console for $13. Not as low or sexy a profile as the above however.

Gauge
I cheated on getting a voltmeter. Easy to install and easy to remove.

I investigated more and while a neat idea, it wont work unless i cut into the dash so i will leave my gauge where it is (attached under ashtray). thanks for answering
