Cheap Wrench and he's a racer too!

It doesn't get much better than this. My six year old would rather put down the Gameboy and turn off the TV and wrench for me in the Porsche....here we are replaceing that pesky shifter bushing (see the bits above the shift mechanism)




and then he wants to go racing the Karts afterwards





Cool - he got his drivers licence for his Kart racing before he got his bicycle off the training wheels (which he did today for this first time - yeahhhh!)

So if a six year old can change the shifter bushing, then anyone can.

I am sure he does great getting in the tight spaces...I almost strain my back anythime I need to do pedal cluster or under dash repairs...

man I wish I started karting that young...I could be a F1 superstar!!!

Get some long pants and eye protection on that young driver!!! This message is from Milt who strated racing karts in 1958 and continued to 1993 including a CA state championship. I cannot stress how rewarding and exciting a karting career can be for the whole family. And tell Mom that it's very safe too, as long as you do your part.
