need help identifying bracket and location for vacuum line 87' Carrera
I am in the middle of putting my motor back together after a rebuild and I've come across this bracket where I cannot seem to find where it would attach to and what it is for... it's in the engine compartment or on the engine somewhere...
Additionally, I found this vacuum line along the rear firewall of the car. It comes out by the cruise control module but runs along the rear of the car and eventually goes through the fender out to the charcoal/emissions canister in the right side wheel well. Any idea where this connects to? The line next to it in the photo comes from the cruise control module and attaches into that vacuum line in a "T" style connection as you can see in the pic. Thanks for any help that you can offer! I didn't take a pic of this bracket or line anywhere so having trouble figuring out where these go... I can't find any vacuum hookup on the motor where this would attach. ![]() ![]() ![]()

i have all those
I have those brackets in place.
The hose is already taken up by the hose that you see below which attaches into the "T" vacuum lines which go to the motor. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It may come off under the heater motor but need a pic to see it better, can't seem to locate where it would go. Thanks for helping!

Okay, I will have a look at my photos, it must be there but just missing it. I understand you're thinking first shroud bolt on the last photo from mine above that you can see just above the upper valve cover.
Any idea for those on the vacuum line? Thanks!!

Update: Vacuum line dives down behind left side rear shock tower and through the tunnel. It's the line which connects the charcoal canister to the gas vent up front.
Thanks for all the help.
