May jump to "Mega HP Junkie"

Looking at a 1985 930, in great condition.
Stock wheels and Int., RSR front spoiler,
great paint, same M.A. Shaw tail that on my
car. And oh yes, A" 750 HP 3.5 twin turbo"with
Motec. (motor is new never been on the street)
I can make this happen, but am I ready to add
another "Monster" to the stable?
I stayed up all night thinking about it.
Need to hear from my "junkies" and the rest
of you guys, make me pull the trigger!!!

Heck I want to know how to hit 750HP! I am so bored now with my miserly ~375HP. I must have more.

If the car is going at a reasonable price you shouldn't lose I would think. Buy it, drive it, see whether its worth keeping. If not sell it a few months later and your unlikely to lose.

Twin turbo means it should be streetable right?

How well is the car setup for handling all the power - more details

Emotionally I'd say go for it if you've no issue over money.

Jealous as.......

Amac, you should not even have to ask, but since you did...

Pull the trigger on that thing and post some pics ASAP.

By the way, I am headed up there for a DE at MSR in mid-May. Any way you can make it out there???

This car wouldn't happen to be red?
I stopped in at Norwood's some tome back and spied a mid-80s red 930 getting a twin turbo mod done to the already modded 3.3T. Mechanic said the goal was just shy of 800hp.

Hey AMAC,

What track do you run on around here? You might know a friend of mine, Bill, older guy with handle bar mustache, drives a black 930 running around 700hp. I know he's spent a lot of time at one of the local tracks...I keep trying to get him to race me in my 912!!!( I figure as he passes me it ought to effectively strip the paint to bare metal and save me some work).

I figured with you being from Plano that might be the same car.
Owner had a LOT of money in it. They offered me the "old" 500hp setup with Haltech engine management and a single turbo for a good price. I had to pass on it 'cause the money pit was loosing its bottom.

I really liked the hand custom plumbing for the turbos and the dual throttle body banks. Very very nice.
