Rebel Racing/Tarret front swaybar review

Decided to go ahead and swap out the stock 22mm front bar on the 930. Any reviews/opinions on the Rebel Racing/Tarret front kit.
I've used and would prefer the SRP one, but can't justify the near double the price. This is for street use.

I have the SRP parts, but have also studied the Tarett parts in great detail on the cars of friends. Both are great and I don't think either will disappoint you.

I feel that CW, Jerry and Ira are all great folks that have done great design work on these parts.

I am not sure whether the Tarett parts come with an instruction-- might be just an ASM drawing. The SRP parts come with detailed instructions. And the SRP instructions/concepts can be helpful with a Tarett bar. And I have them if you need them.

I had early Tarrett on my old track car. Super easy to adjust and never had any issues.

Delrin main bushings and heim joint drop links means it is near friction free. adjustable drop links allow zero-load installation after corner balance setup.

Does your 79 930 have an underbody front sway bar? If so, you will need to drill holes and weld tabs to make a through-body sway bar fit.

Of course not, why make it easy.

Harold, I did it and have enjoyed it ever since. Drilling takes some balls but it’s doable.
Check out my old thread on it

Ha!

There are a few good threads about installing the through body in an early car. One of the more difficult parts is getting the rear nut plates fished in behind the gas tank...

The Tarett bars are great. Very durable and easy to adjust.
