VR-1 $11 per 2 qt bottle at AutoZone

Apologies if this has been shared but just found out sale ongoing at the store. Plenty stocked at least at the shop I was at.

Bad news is that the additive package has been changed and not for the better.

I see no change in M1 15w-50 and will continue to use it in my cars.

Interesting.

Not sure why DA Lubrication, after purchasing Brad-Penn, changed the name - perhaps a sale provision? It has been said they started out with the Brad-Penn additive package, but according to Bill's link, that was then. It says the current product (Driven GP-1) is new and improved.

Walmart has it in Quart 2-packs for less - $8.76 - every single day. Free 2 day delivery when you buy $35 worth - which you will for a full oil change.
