power window help needed

In a 1984 911...

window came out of track, so i opened door panel up, repaired window and added spal automatic locks..actuated by my alarm..took a couple days cause i didnt have a solid block of time. anyway, during the couple days, the windows worked fine with the panel off and switches hanging. put everything back together and now the windows wont work. new fuse, checked relay...nothing...if i press the drivers side/passenger switch i can hear a click on the passenger side. swapped the switches from passenger side to drivers/drivers switch...still nothing.

Im not an electrical wiz...but trying...any suggestions?

thanks
McGeorge

If the relay is the problem it's in the front fuse box , the relay nearest the windscreen , it's black . But if you can hear the motor powering up when you activate the switch it doesn't sound like the relay as they just seem to go dead .

I doubt it is the relay, more likely either faulty reinstallation or you messed up the wiring. The fuse cover should show you what relays go to what in the fuse box.
